Hati-hati dengan emas..cukup dicelupin, dana cair.

Suatu hari seorang teman lama me-contact via chat di fesbuk. Salah satu teman yang menyenangkan saat kongko-kongko di SMA dan kampus yang sekarang nun jauh di sana. Dari bicara banyak soal teman2 SMA, kampus hingga ke investasi emas. Teman saya bercerita bila dia tertarik untuk investasi emas setelah chat beberapa kali dengan saya dan membuktikan pandangan saya dengan data hasil search internet (auditor sekaleee…heheheehh).

Singkat cerita, dia memutuskan untuk meminjam koperasi kantor untuk membeli emas batangan dengan mudah (ya jelas..ternyata dia juga salah satu pengurusnya..hihihii). Hari berikutnya, emas batangan tersebut dia bawa ke salah satu lembaga keuangan untuk digadaikan, dan memperoleh pinjaman dana hari itu juga dengan biaya sewa 1,25% per bulan. Dia tanya, “kira-kira oke gak ya pras kalo emasnya gue gadein. Kan lumayan, sekarang gue punya dana yang bisa gue pake buat apa aja, hehehee..”.

Saya bilang..Mas ganteng..(nyeneng-nyenengin orang banyak pahalanya kan…hehehehh), kalau mas mau gadaikan emas monggo…atau mau kasi emasnya untuk saya, ya saya terima dan bersyukur..asik kan, hihihii..Hanya kalau mas beli emas dengan dana pinjaman dan emas tersebut digadaikan untuk mendapatkan dana pinjaman berarti mas harus mengalokasikan dana untuk membayar cicilan bulaan koperasi kantor dan total pinjaman gadai beserta cicilan biaya sewa per bulan yang akan jatuh tempo setelah empat bulan (bila gadai tidak diperpanjang). Ini namanya mas membuka 2 lubang dengan 1 penutup. Saya tidak mengatakan salah, tetapi dana yang diperoleh setelah menggadaikan emas harus menutup 2 pengeluaran sekaligus. Dengan kata lain, dana tersebut harus dikelola dengan bijaksana dan disiplin anggaran (bahasanya kok kayak orang pemerintahan…ihh) dan nilai cash flow (makhluk apaan sih…teknis bangetss..hihihi) yang masuk dari pengelolaan dana hasil gadai emas harus melebihi total pembayaran rutin atau berkisar di atas 2,5% per bulan dari dana pinjaman koperasi yang cuma 1% per bulan. Jadi saya katakan, mas..hehehee..keliatannya dana ndak bisa dibuat untuk jalan-jalan deh.. (sebab sepertinya dana pinjaman gadai akan digunakan teman saya untuk liburan…tetapi, ya monggooo..semoga (pasti dong…) akan selalu ada dana untuk menutup 2 lubang tadi..) .

Apakah cukup bijaksana menggunakan dana tersebut untuk liburan atau jalan-jalan atau belanja konsumsi lain? Emas memang salah satu instrumen yang menyenangkan untuk mendapatkan dana secara cepat dengan menjadikannya suatu jaminan. Tanpa harus disurvey, cukup dicelupin…heheheee..cair deh pinjaman. Tanpa fee survey, tanpa keringet keluar…kalau masih diminta fee untuk pengujian sih, matre banget deh. Atau instrumen yang menenteramkan bila memiliki (tanya simbah kalau ndak percaya…), kado yang paling gampang di hari ultah simbok…(siapa tau bisa dipinjem lagi..hihihi, nakal ya). Saya percaya bahwa banyak teman yang memiliki pendapat berbeda mengenai investasi emas atau menabung dalam bentuk emas batangan. At least…tulisan ini memberikan sedikit cara pandang saya mengenai sisi indah dibalik berkilaunya emas…

A Good Leader

I always get bored when I had to read the book of leadership in college. All the literatures, theories, definitions and other things make me sleepy before I could finish read the book. But for me, three key points of being a good leader are self improvement, responsibility, and communication. These three key points construct these seven principles of a leader to gain respect from his/her followers. These seven principles are:

Servant. A good leader is a servant. A good leader serves his/her team members to help them achieving their tasks with professional responsibilities.
Self improvement. A good leader must well know every single of your job and your member’s tasks. Self improvement is unavoidable. A good leader maintains his/her learning process through self study, reflection or other people experiences, and attending classes.
Responsibility. Accept the failure. If anything’s go wrong, sooner or later, do not blame others. A good leader had never blamed his/her team members, except him/her self. Analyze the situation; find the right answer for this particular situation. A good leader responsible for the accomplishment of his/her team task, he/she also develops the professional responsibilities of his/her team members.
Problem solver. A good leader is a problem solver. A good leader accepts his/her member’s opinions and suggestions, but he/she is the one who responsible to make a decision.
Role model. All members are watching you. A good leader is a model for the team. Everything you say is everything you do.
Communication. Keep all team members understand every single detail of how the task shall be accomplished. A good leader knows how to communicate with various characters of his/her team members. Since he/she’s a good listener, a good leader knows his/her team members personally.
Understand the advantages. A good leader does understand the capabilities of his/her team members, advantage and disadvantage of his/her team members. A good leader able to use all the advantages of every team member to accomplish all tasks.

The Year I Realize His Power and Love

It all started 16 years ago..When I went to college, I’d could ever dreamed of. At that time, my parents said I had to work instead of continue my education. Yet, I said no..and just like a miracle…scholarship was offered to me. That was my first scholarship.

Today, I have finished my third scholarship.. postgraduate program. Smart? Nope..I am definitely not that smart..

All steps in my life are miracles.

In 2006, my graduation day was held on march..Finally, I have the right to use Master of Science behind my name… On July, I took my vow..I marriage my lovely gal. On August, I took my lovely lady to Europe. On Oktober, I bought my first house..a small house, yet it’s mine. On November, my doctor said that my lovely wife is pregnant.

Can you imagine? Of course, I did beg Him for education or money or…anything. But, five in a row…God must be love us so much.

Now, I realize that He shall give what you really need..not you really want.

I Love Monday..

Monday is the first day of the week. The day I execute my plan for 5 days work. The day I feel so strong to discuss topics at meetings, finish my assignment, set up my report..everything.

Most of my friends at the office hate this day. I think it’s because they said 2 days weekend is not enough, I do agree about this. Let’s think about this..For everything, there’s always a point where or when you make a start. You have to make a good coffee before you could fresh your day up after 5 hours work…for an example. Or you have to make a single call before you know the beautiful creature who lives next to your house.

The point is..when or where you decide to make a starting point. You may hate Monday, because you like Wednesday. You may say Sunday or even Thurday is the first day of the week, since nobody knows what day comes first.

From seven thirty to five at the office. Monday, or the day when we start to execute our plan, is definitely not a good day to give up problems. Don’t you agree?
